The cold winter winds fly through the air, never knowing which way to go. I notice the cold chill isn’t as freezing as the month before. I don’t rely on a groundhog to tell me when and if spring is here or not. When winds start blowing and it’s a nice breeze instead of freezing chill. when spring arrives you everything changes, you can look up and see little leaves and sometime even flowers blooming and the ends of the trees long swaying arms. then when you look at the ground you see little snowdrops blooming and looking so sad ith their head pointed downwards, and I can see little flower buds struggling to get through the layers of decaying leaves. That’s when I know if its spring, when I see trees start to get their colorful green back. The blue parkway starts turning different shades of green, not one quite like the other.
Spring it trying to break that cold winter wall and start bring life back to the community. But it’s not totally spring yet. One week it’s warm and I see all kinds of kids outside playing in the and enjoying the cool breeze or just soaking in the sun, Then the next week it’s a cold, freezing, no one is going outside they are inside struggling to stay warm. Rainy days, coldish days, days that feel like summer, is Spring letting us prepare for the summer and and slowly start letting us pack away our winter stuff. By the times its March going into April, spring is full on and the world starts bursting with color.
