Nature doesn't need us, but we need nature. If we didn't exist, autumn would still come. The leaves would still fall to the ground. Every creature can survive without human civilization. In fact, they may even be better off. Without people, squirrels would be able to wander without the risk of crossing a busy street. Turkeys could make it through Thanksgiving. Animals don't rely on us at all, they rely on each other. Animals need one another, but for some reason we think we can make it on our own. Humans really do need nature. When I sat outside and observed a tree once, I saw how easy it was to ignore. In reality, however, we wouldn't be able to breathe without trees. That's just one example of how we need nature, even though nature doesn't need us.
