Word in Third 3/23/16

Nothing builds self-esteem and self-confidence like accomplishment.”!

What an incredible night! Some words the kids used were: fabulous, epic, crazy, disappointing(due to the absence of their hero), cooool, amazing, tiring, dynamite! We are all so proud of the accomplishments of our school family. The craftsmanship and confidence the kids showed was awe-inspiring! We have already had some wonderful feedback and appreciations from our heroes and guests. We would like to thank our fabulous set-up and clean up crews from the bottom of our hearts! You were so appreciated! Thanks to Jody and Molly we've gotten some great Heroes' Night pictures; if anyone else took pictures that you can share with us, we'd LOVE to have them! Click here or go to our third grade website to check out the ones we have so far!

Just a reminder that, even though we have already had our special night, Exhibition Nights will be on March 23 for K, 2, and 6 (4th grade will be on May 17th) and March 24 for 1, 5, 7, and 8. Food sales to benefit the Science Olympiad Team will begin at 5:00 in the Lunch Room and classrooms will be open at 5:30.  There will not be a program in the gym before going to classrooms so please look carefully for information from your child's teachers on when students should arrive.

We are so excited for our 3rd gr. Climbing Wall Day, 9-12, Monday, April 4th-our first day back from break! Please make a note for your child to come dressed to climb! We are still in need of belayers.  Please let us know right away if you could help. Thank you to the Symonds, Bobilya, and Brown families for your help!

Today your child brought home Spring portrait information and order form!  Picture Day is set for Tuesday April 5th.  More info is available in this week's Scoop.

Don't forget to sign up for Everafter Spring Clubs by Friday! Spread the word to friends~

There is no homework this week. Happy Spring Break! We hope you all have a wonderful , restful time together!
